Christmas is the perfect to spoil the people in your life and if your budget is that bit bigger, then these luxury treats may be perfect. These are all understated classics that will be used every single day and thus a great investment based on cost per wear (or at least that’s what I tell myself anyway as I add them to my own shopping bag).
The Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser was one of my best purchases of 2020. We use it most days for not only making hot chocolate with their decadent chocolate flakes but also making babycinnos for Rosie (or as she calls them, bubble coffees) and for jazzing up our everyday coffee. More often than not we add a couple of spoon fulls of instant coffee to the cold milk and whizz it up for a frothy coffee that doesn’t break the bank. We have used it so much that my parents have bought us the matching Podster coffee machine for Christmas. If you haven’t shopped on QVC previously then use my referral code for an additional £10 off.
I bought my creative curl wand a couple of years ago and still use it every time I curl my hair. The curls are big and bouncy rather than tight ringlets and it is so easy to use that even I can get my full head looking reasonably good in just 10 minutes. GHD currently offer 10% off for new customers so I would recommend that you also pick up a bottle of the Curly Ever After Hold Spray which keeps your curls looking perfect all night.
Christmas gifts are the perfect opportunity to buy an elevated version of something you know they already love. These tutleneck collars are not only a great way to add extra warmth without additional bulk but they are also incredibly versatile – you can wear them over dresses, under cardigans and of course, beneath winter coats. A must have for transitioning between seasons.
In our increasingly cashless society, we are forgoing carrying cash and simply relying on our cards. This Chanel cardholder is made from the softest, buttery lambskin leather and would be a very welcomed gift for most of the ladies that I know – after all, who doesn’t want a little bit of Chanel in their handbag? At least for now I will have to make do with my Chanel lipstick.
I hope these have been helpful (if a little bit last minute – blame a week long migraine, new job and over excited toddler for that one!) I would love to hear what you have on your Christmas wishlist.
