5 Products I have purchased over and over again.

GHD Curly Ever After Hold Spray.

I use this every single time I curl my hair and on the odd occasion that I have run out or forgot, the curls fall out completely within a couple of hours. When using the Curl Hold Spray my curls stay loosely defined all night and often last until the next day which is a miracle on my fine hair. I first tried tried this after being given one as a GWP when I purchased the curling wand and have been repurchasing ever since.

Clarins Tonic Shower Concentrate.

The Tonic range is one of the best smelling bodycare ranges on the beauty hall, the scrub is a regular fixture in my bathroom but I always have to have a bottle of the shower gel on hand. Due to time constraints (working, blogging and wrangling a toddler leaves little time for self care) I am mostly having showers rather than baths, so I have been trying wherever possible to inject a bit of a luxury, spa experience to my teeny bathroom and this helps massively.

Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick – Alabaster/Porcelain.

I flip between the two shades using Porcelain for the majority of the year. This is one of my all time favourite foundation formulas – it is incredibly easy to use, you just swipe it across your skin and blend in with your hands or a foundation brush. I am lucky enough to have the infamous Bobbi Brown BBU Palette in my freelance kit and use it on 90% of my brides, it is just an all round great foundation and lasts amazingly well.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

Even though my partying days have come to a halt and my only chance of an All Nighter involves a nocturnal toddler, I always have a bottle of this both in my freelance kit and in my personal makeup bag. On work days I do my makeup at 6am and wear a medical grade face mask until I get home at around 6.30pm. I have noticed a massive difference in the longevity of my makeup when I have applied this on top, both with wearing face coverings and without. There is less transfer, fading and smudging and until recently I didn’t realise that it is designed to work on eyeshadow as well.

Stella by Stella McCartney EDP.

Unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to repurchase this one again as it seems to have been discontinued. This has been my ‘signature scent’ for the last 10+ years after I picked it up in a half price giftset on a whim in the Boots January sales. Since then I have repurchased as soon as it nears the end, stocking up when there are offers or when they released the limited edition 30ml designs. With similar notes to Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (Rose, Peony, Mandarin), Stella is richer, an almost grown up take on a rose scent with amber added for warmth.

I definitely did comment on this one but it is showing that I have not, how rude!

Stella is most certainly your signature scent of old and I cannot believe they have discontinued it, why do they do this? Surely they cannot be this original and delicious scent?

Clarins in the shower is very luxe, everything about them smells of the spa and I applaud your addition to your daily routine.
