Feel Unique have just launched their new Beauty Box, a personalised subscription service where you pick your own contents. You choose 5 deluxe minis (I spotted a couple of full sizes too) from a huge selection and can either give it a go as a one off, or sign up for a recurrent subscription of 3, 6 or 12 months.
I oped for the one off subscription as I have a terrible habit for not cancelling recurring subscriptions and I have plenty of things still on my ‘to try’ pile. The longer you commit for, the cheaper your monthly price – I have added the prices below.
What did I pick?
Bloom And Blossom All Night Long Calming Sleep Spray 40ml : I have wanted to try Bloom and Blossom for quite a while but had been waiting for my This Works pillow spray to finish. A 99% Naturally Derived blend of Frankincense, Rose and Linden Blossom, this blend in particular helps to reduce anxiety and stress levels as well as ensuring a good night sleep.
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment Starwoman 2ml: I work with Nars products a lot at work and these have really caught my eye recently. They are slightly more fluid than the other liquid lipsticks I have tried
Aurelia London Botanical Cream Deodorant 50g: A natural, aluminimum free alternative to modern deoderants I have put off ordering this previously due to having to apply with your fingers. It contains Kaolin Clay and Corn starch to absorb any moisture, Arrowroot which is naturally antimicrobial and a blend of antibacterial Eucalyptus and Peppermint. I have only used it once and it seemed to do the job, I didn’t notice any difference compared to my usual Wild Deodorant which is great.
Natasha Denona Zendo Eyeshadow Sense 384M 0.4g: Natasha Denona is another brand I haven’t tried previously depsite it being high on my list – her eyeshadows are said to be one of the best formulas on the market. This single shadow is ‘Sense’ featured in her Zendo pallete, Temptalia describes it as a slightly warm-toned, medium-dark brown with a metallic finish, not too disimilar to Mac Twinks.
Natasha Denona Macro Blade Liquid Liner 0.15ml: Mini eyeliners are great as they don’t dry up before you get to finish them. This one bled terribly when swatched but seemed to perform okay when I tried it on my eyes, although I only kept it on for an hour or so. You can see on the image below how the liner has started to migrate almost instantly.
It was very difficult to pick just 5 products if I am honest – there are some great products from brands such as KVD Beauty, Bite Beauty, Moroccan Oil, Lumene and HUDA beauty. Having complete control over what you recieve is a huge plus point for me, as is the generously sized samples. Everything is a deluxe sized mini rather than the single use sachets. They also have quite a few makeup bits which makes a nice change – the HUDA liquid lipstick in Wifey is a cult favourite and well worth a try.
Let me know what you order and if you don’t fancy the Beauty Box then I have a refer a friend offer: Mention my name Sophie Ramsay at checkout for 15% off your order.
