    Christmas ‘Would You Rather’ Tag.

Deciding on a whim to take part in Blogmas, the night before it started was probably not my best idea. Without any blogposts prepared, no photos taken and living in a tier 3 area means that I have been suffering a bit of writer’s block. It has been a tough month in my personal life but I am determined to keep posting as I have really enjoyed doing so and the community I have found have really boosted my confidence.  I recently took part in the Christmas Blogger Tag and thoroughly enjoyed it so when I saw Claire from Our Favourite Jar post the Christmas Would You Rather Tag on…

    The Christmas Blogger Tag.

I was tagged by the lovely Erica from Blog with Erica to take part in the Blogmas tag. Have a read of Erica’s post here. I would highly recommend following Erica if you love reading posts on parenting, lifestyle and balancing work/mum life. I don’t know many bloggers to tag individually so I tag everyone who reads this. I would love to read your answers, leave me a link in the comments and I will come have a look. I have included the template at the bottom of the page. Do you have any family Christmas traditions? Our Christmas tends to be quite low key. We are going to my parents…

Our Christmas Book collection (Toddler/Board Books)

I have loved books since being tiny and ever since finding out we were expecting Rosie, I was excited to read books with her. We are very lucky that we have a huge collection of books (thanks to a very kind Auntie Timmy and my charity shop addiction) so I store seasonal books away when not being used. We are still very much in the board book stage as Rosie is not only incredibly independent but also very heavy handed. These are a selection of our favourites that I would recommend that you add to your Christmas book collection. Dear Santa – Rod Campbell: I absolutely loved ‘Dear Zoo’ as…

10 Christmas things that other people love but I don’t.

This tag has been flying around Instagram this evening, the original template was from Lucie at lucieandthebump‘s Instagram but I have seen it on Alice and Ruth‘s stories too. It looked like fun so I fancied taking part. Please let me know if you join in and I can link to your answers too. Oh and the photo is one of the most festive I could find in my camera roll and despite the post’s title, I absolutely LOVE a glass of fizz! Christmas Eve night out: My little sister would always meet her friends at the pub on the evening of the 24th, returning home after midnight. I don’t even know if…

    Christmas: December 1st Box.

On the lead up to Christmas, Instagram is full of parents proudly sharing the contents of their children’s Christmas Eve boxes. Now that Rosie is getting old enough to be really aware of Christmas, I was really excited to make her one of her own. All being well and dependant on current regulations, we will be staying with my parents on Christmas Eve. With this in mind and with Rosie still only being 2, we decided that instead of a Christmas Eve Box, we will start our tradition as a December Box. On the morning of the 1st of December, Rosie will come down to a box filled with goodies…
